Why we love the Ranch
For us, Four Suns Ranch is a return to what’s essential:
Meaning. Adventure. Connection—to the land, to community, to family, to self.
High in Colorado's Woody Creek Valley, Four Suns Ranch stands as a testament to a simpler time. Here, where an 1887 cabin still watches over the meadows, we’re breathing new life into this historic working ranch.
We chose it because it’s place where the din of daily life fades away, replaced by the sound of wind through the aspens and our children's laughter echoing across the mesa.

A place for connection
Four Suns Ranch was born from a simple observation: our most meaningful moments often come when we disconnect from our devices and reconnect with each other. The Ranch gives our family the rare opportunity to step out of the routine and into something real. Here, getting dusty is a badge of honor, trying something new is encouraged, and every day holds the potential for discovery.
Authentic by nature
We’re undertaking the Ranch's restoration in a way that honors the craftsmanship of another era. Blacksmiths work with found metals, saddle makers practice their centuries-old craft, and reclaimed materials find new purpose in careful hands. This isn't a reimagining of the American West – it's a preservation of its spirit. The result is an environment that feels both timeless and alive, where every detail reflects a commitment to authenticity over artifice.
We love our Ranch.
